Since I was a child, I have loved to draw and paint, but the financial demands of single motherhood required a dependable income. After 35 years of working in corporate America with painting as an occasional hobby, I have finally been able to retire. I have experimented with various media and discovered my love for pastels with the occasional acrylic and watercolor. I am still evolving in my style as I paint landscapes and sometimes figures. I strive to become a more abstract painter. I have learned that one never stops learning to be an artist, because there is always more to learn. The one thing that is certain for me is that I love the process of creating art and it will sustain me for the rest of my life. My influences include Cezanne, Matisse, Bonnard, Bischoff and Linda Christensen. Lynn Morgan
